Çerkezköy CCI Delegation participated in the European Business Dialogue Project Joint Meeting and Study Visit program in Brussels, organized as part of the Improving European Dialogue for Business Project. Drama Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Drama CCI), the project's partner, was also included in the programme. Çerkezköy CCI delegation first visited as our Ambassador to Turkey Mehmet Kemal Bozay. The visit programme of the Turkey-European Union relations and contributions of the Chambers were evaluated. At the end of the visit, Çerkezköy CCI Chairman Süleyman Kozuva presented the Chamber plaque to Bozay. After the Embassy programme, the delegation met with Ben Butters, Co-CEO of EUROCHAMBRES. The Brussels program continued with a visit to the European Economic and Social Committee. At the meeting held with the participation of Nelu Neacsu, President of the European Academy of Regions-Member of the European Economic and Social Committee, Neacsu gave information to the Turkish and Greek Delegations about their institutions.

WE EXPORT TO FOUR SIDE OF THE WORLD

President Kozuva expressed the following words in his speech: “First of all, we are very happy and proud on behalf of our Chamber and our region for being here today. As Çerkezköy Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we are a strong institution serving 3 regions with our nearly 5000 members. We represent our country in the best way by exporting to all over the world with our production in sectors such as machinery, metal, textile, chemistry, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. On the other hand, we have organized events that bring together the business world of Çerkezköy and Drama within the scope of the European Business Dialogue Project  that we started with great enthusiasm. In addition, we have carried out activities that will strengthen the capacity of Çerkezköy Chamber of Commerce and Industry and raise awareness about the EU accession process in our region. ”

The second day of the program, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey started with the program, visit the Brussels office. Meeting with the TOBB Representative Haluk Nuray, the delegation gave information about the institution to Nuray and consulted about the future projects.
Süleyman Kozuva, Chairman of the Chamber, "We feel at home here. As Çerkezköy Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we aim to increase the competitiveness of our members and attach great importance to international projects in order to contribute to their economic development” noted his words.

I would like to state that we are always ready to support you." The visit ended after President Kozuva presented the Chamber plaque to Nuray.

IDEAS WERE EXCHANCED

Çerkezköy TSO Delegation met with European Commission Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations IPA Team Leader Laura Zampetti on the 2nd day. In the meeting where Zampetti was informed about IPA 1 and IPA 2, She also consulted with Çerkezköy TSO and Drama TSO delegations about the project. Çerkezköy CCI Chamber Chairman Süleyman Kozuva, Vice Presidents Mustafa Seçkin and Ayhan Arslan, Board Members Metin Taşdelen, Mehmet Çetin, Murat Seymen and Murat Narçın, President and Members of the Professional Committee Ayhan Duran, Kenan Aşer, Seçkin Tunç and Erhan Deniz and Secretary General Hakan Gel,Project Specialist Mert Yüksek attended.

TURKEY AND EU RELATIONS WAS SPOKEN

Following the Brussels visit, the Çerkezköy delegation met with Tüsiad Brussels Representative Dilek Aydın and Turkonfed Brussels Representative Zeynep Sanıgök.Lastly, the delegation met with DG GROW Unit Head Giamoco Mattino and consulted about the institutions. At the end of the program, the Vice Chairman of the Board, Ayhan Arslan presented the Chamber plaque to Mattino .
